When can I select my meals for my next Crowd Cooks box?

The new menu is put online every Tuesday at 09:00 (D-12 before delivery). You can make your selection via the member's area of the site. We also send you an email on Thursday at 10:00 (D-10 before delivery) to allow you to make your selection in 1 click.

How do I know if the meals are spicy, vegetarian or kids friendly?

In response to your many requests, you will now find an indication showing whether a meal is spicy, vegetarian, kids friendly or whether it should be reheated in the oven.

Until when can I pause?

You can pause your next Crowd Cooks box until Monday 09:00 (D-6 before delivery). Our goal: a perfectly fresh box with minimum food waste! To pause go to the members area of the website. We will also send you an email on Thursday at 10:00 (D-10 before delivery) to allow you to pause in 1 click.

What happens if I forget to make my meal selection before Monday 09:00?

No worries! If you have not paused your box and forgot to choose your meals, by default you will always receive the first two meals on the menu (e.g. in the case of a box with 4 meals, it will be the first four meals). We work according to a minimum food waste principal which is why we will not be able to accept any change of meals after Monday 09:00.

What happens if I forget to pause my Crowd Cooks box before Monday 09:00?

If you have not paused your box before Monday 09:00, your order is confirmed.

In case you didn’t pause and you realize that nobody will be there to receive your box, please ask one of your neighbors to receive the box for you, or leave an isotherm bag for the driver to put your meals in. As a reminder, our meals can be frozen.

In the event that no one can receive your box and the driver can’t leave it in a discreet place for you, your meals will be donated to charity.

When will I be debited?

Once your order has been confirmed (e.g. you didn’t pause before Monday 09:00), you will be debited. You will receive an email notification to let you know. If you have a discount code, please note that we will deduct the discount manually just after the automatic debit (e.g. within 12 hours).

Delivery

What day will I receive my box?

You choose the day of delivery when you place your first order. Either Sunday (16:00-20:00) or Monday (10:00-14:00). If you place your first order before Tuesday 09:00 am you will receive your box the following Sunday or Monday (D+5 after the order). If you place your first order after Tuesday 09:00, you will receive your first box on Sunday or Monday next week (D+12 after the order).

At what time will I receive my Crowd Cooks box?

We will send you an SMS on Thursday 15:00 which will indicate your expected delivery time of +/- 30 minutes, on Sunday or Monday. There is no point in replying to this SMS (it is a no-reply SMS, i.e. we do not receive the reply). In case you have a problem with the reception of your box, see below what to do.

Can I change the day of delivery?

Yes, it is possible to change the day of delivery, however you must inform us before Tuesday 09:00 am by sending us an email to hello@crowdcooks.be. If you notify us after Tuesday 09:00 am, the change will be made from the following week. 

What if I know in advance that there will be no one to receive my box?

Of course, you can always pause your box in one click before Monday 09:00. Go to the member's area of the site for this.

In case you have not paused your box before Monday 09:00 and you realize that nobody will be there to receive your box, please ask one of your neighbors to receive the box for you. To facilitate the delivery of our delivery man, please send us an email before 15:00 to hello@crowdcooks.be with the address, name and surname of your neighbor.

Please note that if you cannot find anyone to receive your box, your box will be donated to a charity.

What happens if no one answers when the delivery man arrives at my home?

If nobody answers when the delivery man arrives at your home, our delivery man will contact you by phone. If no one answers after 5 minutes, our delivery man will try to give the boxes to one of your neighbors. If he cannot find anyone to take your box, then he will leave your box in a discreet place and send you a text message to let you know. If our delivery man cannot find a way to leave your box discreetly, then your box will be donated to a charity.

Little tip: we always advise you to leave an isotherm bag in plain sight for our delivery man to safely deliver your box in (keep it cool :).
